Call for nominees; deadline for ATMIA awards approaches

September 11, 2002

BROOKINGS, South Dakota -- The ATM Industry Association will honor companies and individuals for their outstanding achievements in the ATM industry on Nov. 14 during its Conference West in San Diego, Calif.

The awards, which the ATMIA plans to make an annual tradition, will recognize exceptional achievements in these categories: Best Practice ATM Deployment, with awards for both an ISO and financial institution; Best ATM Technology, with awards for both through-the-wall and standalone ATMs; and Best Contribution to Promoting the Interests and Growth of the ATM Industry, with awards for an individual and an organization.

Both ATMIA members and non-members associated with the ATM industry are encouraged to submit recommendations and applications for the awards, according to the ATMIA. To nominate a company or individual, please provide a 500-1,000 word document stating why the nominee should be considered worthy of recognition in one or more of the three categories.

The ATMIA Executive Board will select the finalists, and ATMIA members will select the winners. All nominations must be received by Oct. 25.

Nominations may be sent to Lana Harmelink at P.O. Box 452, 123 Maple Drive, Brookings, SD 57006. For more information, email lana@atmia.com.
