California CU calls on Cummins Allison for auto-deposit ATMs

March 7, 2018

Cummins Allison, a provider of ATMs and coin, currency and check processing technology, has announced its installation of automated deposit ATMs for Hanford, California-based Kings Federal Credit Union.

The CU selected the Cummins Allison H34 automated deposit ATM in a walk-up and drive-up configuration, a company press release said.

The 10,000 member, $100 million institution is realizing significant time-savings managing deposits with the new machines, president and CEO Jeff Bassill said in the release.

"The new deposit imaging capability helps make crediting cash to accounts much faster and reduces the need to pull deposits at a certain time," he said. "The time we're saving from not having to open envelopes and review deposits are at least 30 minutes each day."

Additionally, the new machines will make the upcoming transition from Windows 7 to Windows 10 much easier, the release said.
