Burroughs receives SOC II certification

Burroughs Inc., a provider of maintenance, support and cash automation solutions to U.S. financial institutions and retailers, has obtained System and Organization Control II certification, according to a company press release. 

An independent accounting and auditing firm awarded SOC certification to Burroughs after examining the company's managed maintenance services and found that they meet all standards based on trust service principles, criteria and illustrations for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.

"With SOC II certification, Burroughs clients can be assured that our control objectives and activities have been thoroughly and extensively tested to ensure we are operating at the highest level possible," Burroughs CEO Ed Boyd said in the release.
