BTIG brings on energy investment manager

BTIG, a financial services firm, appointed Sumon Chaudhuri as a managing director of its energy, infrastructure and transportation investment banking group. With this appointment, the bank aims to expand its coverage for energy investment banking across oil, clean energy and energy transition, according to a press release.
Prior to joining BTIG, Chaudhuri served as managing director at Bank of America's securities energy practice.
"We are thrilled to have Sumon join our team," Jon Dever, head of BTIG investment banking, said in the release. "His deep industry knowledge will be instrumental as we sharpen our focus on this dynamic sector and grow our presence in the region."
