Boston man killed during ATM robbery in Philippines

A Boston man, Ralph Manecke, was killed during a robbery at an ATM in the Philippines. An armed suspect exited an SUV and stole a bag of cash containing about $800 from him before shooting him into the stomach, according to a report by NDTV World.

The man's partner Jerald Ceasar Tornea said that the suspect first greeted them before pulling out a gun.

Police arrived on the scene and took the 56 year old to the hospital where he was pronounced dead not long after.

The investigation is ongoing.
