Several Bank of America customers in North Carolina were shocked Wednesday when their accounts showed a $0 balance. Multiple customers tried reaching out to the bank for answers and also contacted Charlotte television station

Bank of America confirmed with Fox 46 that there was a major online glitch that caused the issue.
"Some of our clients may currently see an inaccurate account balance in online or mobile banking. There is no impact to their accounts and their information remains secure. We are working to address it as quickly as possible," Bank of America said in a written statement.
Customers also said they had trouble trying to transfer funds from one account to another.
