BMO intros Mastercard credit card

BMO introduced its Escape Credit Card with Mastercard to provide more rewards for travelers. In particular, it offers up to $240 in hotel credits annually, according to a press release.

Some of its perks include:

  • Rebates on TSA PreCheck fees.
  • 4x points on dining, airfare up to $3,000.
  • 3x points on hotels, cruise lines, tours and travel agencies up to $3,000.
  • One point per dollar spent on all eligible purchases.

"Our customers who travel frequently are looking for a card that provides world-class rewards and benefits, so we are proud to offer the BMO Escape Credit Card, in partnership with Mastercard," Jennifer Douglas, head of North American retail and small business payments at BMO, said in the release. "With the ability to earn multiplying rewards that can be redeemed in the ways they prefer; this card is designed to help travelers make real financial progress."
