Better ATM Services wins 2013 Paybefore Award

Better ATM Services recently announced that it has been honored as a 2013 Paybefore Awards winner. Now in its seventh year, Paybefore Awards recognizes excellence in the worldwide prepaid and emerging payments industry.

The awards are presented annually by the payments industry publication Paybefore. The Judges’ Choice Award recognizes the impact on both the prepaid and ATM industries of the Better ATM Services ATM-dispensed Visa prepaid gift card.

Payments Awards winners were selected by a judging panel comprised of five industry experts. This year's competition included a record number of entries around the world, according to a news release from Better ATM Services. Judges’ Choice is a special category that acknowledges an entrant's potential to have a dramatic impact on cardholders, stakeholders, and the industry overall.

“Paybefore Awards were created to honor the companies and individuals that are at the forefront of innovation,” said Loraine DeBonis, Paybefore editor-in-chief and chair of the judging panel.

“Better ATM Services’ ATM-dispensed Visa prepaid gift card program impressed the judges because it uses an existing channel to provide convenience to consumers and help financial institutions participate in the prepaid market. The judges recognized the potential of the ATM to become a powerful channel for gift cards as well as an instant issuance channel for GPR programs.”

A national rollout of Better ATM Services’ ATM-dispensed Visa prepaid gift card program is underway.
