Banks reimburse customers for competitors' ATM fees

The Washington Times: Local branches of PNC, Commerce, Sandy Spring and Chevy Chase banks, among others, are waiving and reimbursing the ATM fees for customers with high account balances. In an effort to keep good customers and lure others in the competitive market, many banks are eliminating the charges imposed when customers use a competitor's ATM, and even reimbursing the fee charged by the other bank. But there is a catch.
