Bank of Montreal appoints board member

Bank of Montreal has appointed Hazel Claxton, former EVP and chief human resources officer at Morneau Shepell Inc., to its board of directors, according to a press release.

Prior to joining Morneau, she served for 29 years at PwC Canada in a number of leadership roles.

"We are pleased to welcome Hazel to the board of directors," George A. Cope, chair of the board, said in the release. "She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in executive leadership, accounting and finance, talent management and strategic planning. She will be a strong addition to our board."
