Bank of Beirut Oman to license Euronet ATM-driving solutions

The software will allow the bank to manage its entire ATM network, and provide real-time account access to customers anywhere in the world.

Euronet Software Solutions, a division of Euronet Worldwide Inc., has announced an agreement to license its integrated transaction management, card management and ATM driving solutions along with EMV support to Bank of Beirut Oman, a company press release said.

The ATM driving solution from Euronet will allow the bank to manage its entire ATM network, and provide real-time account access to customers anywhere in the world.

The bank also will enhance the security of transactions for issuing, acquiring and managing chip cards, while providing a new service to customers with Euronet's EMV solution.

"This cost-efficient initiative for ATMs is set to enhance the bank's portfolio with wider service options on our ATM network," said Remy Zambarakji, country manager for Bank of Beirut Oman branches.

The software will be installed and supported by QuanTech s.a.l., Euronet's distributor partner in Lebanon.
