Bank of America saw 23.4B digital interactions in 2023

Bank of America saw more than 23.4 billion digital interactions on its platforms in 2023, an 11% increase year-over-year. These included 10.6 billion proactive digital alerts for insights into their finances, according to a press release.

Other stats include:

  • Erica, a virtual financial assistant, had 18.5 million users.
  • EY, a tax consultant, and Money Lion, a personal finance app, will offer embedded finance platforms to banks.
  • 21.5 million clients use Zelle for payments.
  • Clients logged into their accounts 12.8 billion times.
  • 77% of consumer and small business households use the bank's platforms.

"Our clients unlocked convenience 23 billion times last year through digital interactions," Nikki Katz, head of digital at Bank of America, said in the release. "Individualized real-time alerts and proactive insights, along with our digital platform overall, help simplify the day-to-day management of finances. This allows our clients to more easily balance life and enjoy the moments that matter."
