Bank of America appoints president of Seattle

Bank of America has appointed Jim Morehead to serve as president of Seattle, Oregon. In addition, Alex Yang will replace Jeremy Williams as market executive for Seattle, according to a press release.

In his role, Morehead will connect customers to the bank's eight lines of business, He will also help address social issues and strength economic opportunities for the area.

'Seattle is an important market for Bank of America, and Jim has established deep relationships with our teammates, clients and the greater Puget Sound community during his career," Brian Moynihan, CEO, Bank of America, said in the release. "In his new role, Jim will help ensure we are a great partner as we continue to grow across the region."

He will also remain market executive for Global Commercial Banking for the Western Washington and Pacific Rim market.
