Bank of America has promoted Scott Vanderpool to president at Bank of America Phoenix, Arizona. He takes over for Benito Almanza who will retire on April 6 after 45 years of service for Bank of America, according to a press release.
In his role, he will be responsible for connecting the bank's investment and banking resources through eight lines of business to Phoenix. Vanderpool has served at Bank of America since 2007.
"I am looking forward to helping deliver on our continued commitment of responsible growth across Phoenix, a community I care deeply about," Vanderpool said in the release. "We have much to be proud of here in the Valley of the Sun, but we also have more work to do to build a more inclusive economy. Together with our Bank of America team, I know we can continue improving people's financial lives."
