Bank of America has debuted an Ask Global Payments Solutions generative AI tool.

Trained on more than 3,200 internal documents, employees can ask the tool questions from business clients, according to a press release.

Bank of America built the tool to improve efficiency and customer experience, as it could previously take a significant amount of time for employees to find answers to complex questions.

"AskGPS turns institutional knowledge into real-time intelligence," Mark Monaco, head of GPS at Bank of America, said in the release. "It's more than a search tool — it's a strategic engine, helping our teams respond faster and deliver the kind of clarity and advice clients expect in today's environment."

Customers can receive faster turnaround on inquiries and receive personalized solutions to their inquiries through this tool.

"AskGPS is a bold leap forward in how we harness GenAI across the enterprise," Jarrett Bruhn, head of data and AI for GPS at Bank of America, said in the release. "By turning static content into dynamic intelligence, we're not just improving access — we're transforming how our teams learn, respond and lead with insight."

Bank of America has been at the forefront of banking AI with other solutions such as the virtual assistant Erica, which recently surpassed 3 billion user interactions.
