Independent UK ATM operator Bank Machine is calling upon charities to participate in a program that will allow people to make contributions through the operator's ATMs. The company is asking charities to register an interest in participation before the end of November 2011.
The donations option on the LINK ATM Network, of which Bank Machine is a member, is planned to go live in April 2012.
"Bank Machine fully supports this superb initiative. We believe many millions of pounds can be raised for good causes and we want to give as many charities as possible the opportunity to apply to participate at Bank Machine ATMs. Bank Machine will select from those charities that apply directly to us," said Ron Delnevo, managing director, Bank Machine.
