BANGLADESH -- GrameenPhone Limited has signed an agreement with Electronic Transactions Network Ltd (ETN) for collection of GP bills through the E-Cash shared ATM network, according to a report in the Economic Reporter.
This agreement will enable GP subscribers with E-Cash ATM/debit cards to pay their mobile bills electronically through all of the network's ATMs.
Electronic Transactions Network Ltd is a sister concern of United Group, Bangladesh and operates and maintains a network of 21 ATMs all over the country on behalf of nine member banks: Agrani Bank, Al Baraka Bank (BD) Ltd, Bank Asia Ltd, Credit Agricole Indosuez, Dhaka Bank Ltd, Islami Bank (BD) Ltd, National Bank Ltd, National Credit and Commerce Bank Ltd and Southeast Bank Ltd.
