Baker Boyer, a Walla Walla, Washington-based bank with locations throughout the state, will close branch lobbies and meeting rooms due to COVID-19, the coronavirus, according to a press release.
The company will offer ATM and drive-thru service, and clients needing face-to-face interaction may use video conferencing options. Arrangements will be made for those clients needing to access safe deposit boxes or sign paperwork.
In a letter to clients, Mark Kajita, president and CEO of Baker Boyer, said advisers will be contacting customers to offer assistance in meeting their specific needs.
"We are working hard to ensure our clients receive the same relationship experience — we will simply be shifting much of it to digital means," he said.
