India's Axis Bank's AI-powered voice assistant bot, Axaa, can converse with banking customers in English, Hindi and 'Hinglish'.
The bot was developed in partnership with Vernacular Ai, and can answer many customer questions without human intervention, according to a report in Finextra.
"This new technology will not only enhance customer experience, but will also increase efficiency of our contact center operations," Ratan Kesh, head, retail operations and service for Axis, said. "More importantly it will help our employees to focus on more complicated queries and request from customers and thereby improve productivity while improving quality and customer experience."
