PADERBORN, Germany -- Austria's Raiffeisen Bank Group will install ProClassic architecture from Wincor Nixdorf on its 3,900 self-service machines.
With installation scheduled to start at the beginning of 2003, the new software will replace the present DOS-based software, according to a news release.
According to the release, ProClassic met one of Raiffeisen Group's key requirements for a vendor-independent software architecture, especially important because of the diverse networks and host systems used by individual members of the Group. Another key advantage was Wincor's 25-year partnership with Raiffeisen Group.
