Australia surpasses Asia with bitcoin ATM deployments

Australia has officially surpassed the entire continent of Asia with bitcoin ATM deployments. It currently hosts 364 cryptocurrency ATMs, compared to 355 in Asia, according to a report by Coin Telegraph.

Australia is currently the third largest host of cryptocurrency ATMs, with Canada in second and America in first place. The country has added ATMs every month, which is a major difference from the rest of the world. In the first two months of 2023, the net number of cryptocurrency ATMs fell by 412, according to the report.
