LONDON - The ATM Industry Association and government forces in Melbourne, Victoria, are joining to support a new Joint Industry-Government ATM Safety and Security Committee.
According to a news release, the committee will be made up of representatives from the Australian Bankers Association, ATMIA, and Victoria's government and police departments. An independently selected chairperson also will serve on the committee.
The new committee is expected to monitor ATM compliance and will conduct safety reviews after serious ATM incidents in Victoria, Australia.
