BROOKINGS, S.D. -- The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) has cancelled its May 12-13 risk management workshop and rescheduled the event for June 17-18 at The Metropolitan Hotel in Toronto.
"With the SARS threat and the travel ban to the Toronto area, ATMIA felt that we were not able to offer the best event at this time. We want both attendees and speakers to feel comfortable and safe during the workshop and that is why we have decided to postpone," said Dana Fullerton, marketing director of ATMIA Conferences, in a statement.
The workshop will be the inaugural event for the new Canadian chapter of ATMIA.
