ATMIA offers discount for early registration

HARTFORD, S.D. -- The ATM Industry Association is offering a $100 discount for its upcoming conference "ATMs in the Americas," March 5-7 in Miami, for those who register by Jan. 15. According to the ATMIA's Web site, its fourth major American trade show is being co-sponsored by NYCE Corporation, an electronic payments company comprised of 2,200 financial institutions and retail ATM participants.

Dennis Lynch, NYCE president and chief executive, will present the keynote address on March 5, and NYCE will offer a special March 6 afternoon session which will feature discussions on ATMs and the unbanked, sponsorship from a network perspective and Triple DES

According to the site, the show's schedule will appeal to ATM businesses throughout the Americas, from Canada to Latin America. On the agenda: presentations on consolidation and outsourcing, the changing role of the bank branch and impacts on the ATM, worldwide interchange and surcharging trends, trends in the ATM service sector and bank sponsorship of ISOs.

Also, in response to calls from industry leaders requesting a security forum, for the first time ever in America, ATMIA will host "ATM Sec America," a pre-conference, one-day seminar on ATM security.
