ATMIA names new executive director for Asian chapter

The ATM Industry Association has a new director for its operations in Asia.
 
According to a news release issued by ATMIA, Peter Poon in September is taking the reins of ATMIA Asia in Hong Kong.
 
Poon says the role should open new networking opportunities for ATMIA:
 
By taking up the appointment, I am looking forward to contributing to the collective intelligence of the industry via ATMIA's platform.
 
Poon speaks Cantonese, Mandarin (Putonghua) and English and has an MBA from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a master's degree in security management from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia.
 
Before joining ATMIA, Poon was director of financial institution services in Asia-Pacific for G4S Holdings (Hong Kong).
