The ATM Industry Association named Janice M. Simoneau as its new executive director. Prior to joining ATMIA, Simoneau was vice president of the New York State Credit Union League, with primary responsibility for development and ongoing operations of a credit union ATM network. She has been involved in many aspects of data processing and ATM operations throughout her career, including an operations management position with NYCE, a regional ATM network based in Woodbridge, N.J. "We look forward to working with Jan as we continue to add value to ATMIA membership," said Lyle Elias, ATMIA president. "Her experience is going to be a tremendous asset as we grow in the U.S. and internationally." Simoneau's goals include developing new benefits, growing the membership base and representing the ATM industry on a political level. She plans to introduce a new insurance program and build the infrastructure of the ATM Advertising Council. Shelley Kinslow, former executive director of the association, will continue as executive consultant and conference producer.
