CAPE TOWN, South Africa -- The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) has launched the second and final phase of its new Member Loyalty Plan.
According to a news release, member benefits are part of ATMIA's new five-year business plan. Based upon that plan, ATMIA's goal is to grow its international membership base from 400 to 1,000.
In phase one of the new plan, the association increased the number of member company discounts for attending its international conferences and workshops. (See related story ATMIA intros loyalty program with added conference discounts)
Under phase two, one additional member contact may be added to the ATMIA membership database for each year of renewed membership. Also, listings of those who have entered their third year of continuous membership will appear in the ATMIA Post, ATMIA's official newsletter, on ATMIA websites and in ATMIA conference workbooks.
After five years of continuous membership, a member company will receive an anniversary certificate, an ATMIA polo shirt and a free literature distribution at any ATMIA event of choice. After 10 years of continuous membership, a member company receives an anniversary certificate, an ATMIA polo shirt and a free breakfast or lunch event sponsorship package at an ATMIA event of choice.
An annual award will be introduced from 2004 for the Most Influential Member, in both individual and company categories.
Lana Harmelink, ATMIA's director of operations, said, "We want to take care of our members and show them that we value them. It's that simple."
The ATM Industry Association, founded in 1997, is a global non-profit trade association with over 10,500 members in 65 countries. The membership base covers the full range of this worldwide industry comprising over 2.2 million installed ATMs.
