ATM surcharges to drop 55 percent in India

Economic Times of India: Transaction costs for those accessing foreign ATMs are set to come down by 55 percent in India. The move follows a decision by the Reserve Bank of India's technology arm - the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology - to cut fees for accessing its National Financial Switch, which provides interconnectivity between ATM networks.
