October 15, 2009
England-based TestLink Services Ltd. is celebrating 20 years of ATM service. To mark the 20th anniversary, TestLink unveiled a new NCR ATM-cassette-testing system and announced a major contract to repair and refurbish chip and PIN terminals across Europe.
TestLink assists ATM owners and operators across the world in buying refurbished ATMs. TestLink also provides computer repairs for OEMs and laptop owners.
The company says it has grown quite a bit since its inception in 1989, when the company was launched by chairman Nick Beer and managing director Greg Hughes. Testlink now employs 150 people at three sites — two in the United Kingdom and one in the Czech Republic.
TestLink provides ATM parts supply; ATM parts repairs and refurbishment; ATM estate management; ATM installation and de-installation; and ATM security upgrades, such as anti-ramming, anti-skimming and ATM-cassette locking bars.
TestLink also remanufactures and upgrades NCR and Wincor Nixdorf ATMs, says ATM sales manager Andrew French: Advances in ATM technology have made used ATM machines a better buy than ever now. We have years of experience in ATM refurbishment and our engineers are OEM-trained. … They can assess potential weak spots and carry out the necessary preventative maintenance and upgrades to ensure maximum uptime.
