ATM scams almost cut in half in Japan

The (Tokyo) Yomiuri Shimbun: The number of bank-transfer scams and the amount of money remitted by fraud victims was almost cut by 50 percent, following a special October campaign designed to educate consumers about the risks. The country has seen a significant drop in the number of people being duped into sending cash via ATMs to criminals' accounts.
