ATM robber leaves jail inmate ID at scene of crime

A man who stole $800 from a Chase ATM in Jersey City, New Jersey, also left behind his Hudson County inmate ID card along with a personal property receipt.

The thief took the cash from an ATM customer withdrawing $800 by shoving him out of the way and grabbing the cash when it came out of the ATM dispenser, according to a report by The Jersey Journal.

The robber dropped a bag containing his personal ID on nearby Warren Street. The investigation is ongoing.
