ATM refurb shop moves into larger digs, adds new services

May 4, 2003

ATLANTA --  Atlanta Computer Group (ACG) ATM-Remarketers, a provider of custom refurbished ATMs, kiosks, parts, maintenance and training for credit unions, community banks and independent store operators, has expanded into a new 35,000-square-foot location in Alpharetta, Ga.

According to a news release, the new location accommodates the firm's need for increased space for storage, parts, inventory, refurbishment, shipping and a state-of-the-art training facility.

"We simply outgrew our former location," said Woody Alderman,  chief executive of ACG ATM-Remarketers, in the release. "Because we have experienced steady growth and anticipate that this trend will continue, we needed to expand our facility to accommodate increases in productivity and efficiency."

The expansion also reflects ACG's new services. ACG now offers in-house design for kiosks and canopies, a full turnkey installation process, and ATM maintenance programs. The expansion also allows ACG to offer customers a larger variety of ATMs and kiosks, as well as overnight delivery of thousands of ATM parts. According to the release, ACG serves more than 500 financial institutions in the continental United States, primarily credit unions and independent community banks.
