ATM industry mourns the loss of Maryland ATM operator Kenneth Gerstley

The ATM industry, the National ATM Council and town of Pikesville, Maryland are mourning the loss of Ken Gerstley, 58, who was fatally shot during a robbery on Jan., 30 at approximately 11 a.m. outside a Baltimore convenience store. Gerstley, who worked for ATM Enterprises, had just filled the ATM machine in the store and walked outside when he was fatally shot.

Gerstley, a long time member of NAC, was the vice president of sales and operations for ATM Enterprises.

Gerstley is survived by his wife, Lori Gerstley (nee Stavisky); daughters, Allie Gerstley and Tori Gerstley; siblings, Ron Gerstley (Amy Blank), Jeanne (Jeff) Weiner, Geri (Michael) Durham, and Jay T. Judd; mother, Barbara Judd; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bob and Roz Stavisky; brother-in-law and sister-in law, Jeff & Lori Stavisky; nieces, Allie and Emmy Weiner, Maria Gerstley, Manya Gerstley, Sophie and Lily Stavisky, and Lisa Shang; and nephews, Zach and Jake Weiner and Brooks Gerstley.

He was predeceased by his brother, Lee Gerstley; and father, John Gerstley.

Baltimore Police detectives are still searching for leads in the case. Anyone with information was asked to call homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
