Scotland's Scotia Security Group is also moving forward with previously announced plans to expand into the US market this year.

Edinburgh-based Scotia Security Group said this week that orders during the last quarter of 2014 for its ATM Cassette Guard will result in a doubling of production in 2015.
ATM Cassette Guard restricts access to the ATM's cash cassettes during cash replenishment; programmable access codes and a full audit trail ensure access traceability, and integrated security features defend against physical attacks.
"The major U.K. and European banks want to better protect their staff, their assets and indeed their reputations," said Scotia Managing Director Grant Calder. "By incorporating ATM Cassette Guard they can reduce the opportunity for fraud whilst protecting against physical attacks."
According to the release, the product can be installed quickly and easily using existing fixing points. Subsequent servicing can then be carried out as normal.
In the release, Scotia also reiterated its commitment to enter the U.S. market this year — an effort that was officially launched at last month's ATMIA US 2015 conference in Las Vegas. Since ATM models and crime profiles are essentially the same globally, the company believes it can replicate its European success in the North American market.
