ATM ad firm i-design secures funding

November 22, 2004

Finextra: UK-based i-design, a provider of interface design and ATM advertising systems to the financial services market, has secured a £250,000 (U.S. $467,000) investment from Sigma Technology.

I-design says it will use the Sigma funding to further develop its business in Europe. The vendor's ATM:ad technology allows financial services firms to generate advertising over their ATM networks.

Ana Stewart, i-design's managing director, said, "Sigma are an excellent fit to assist us in this period of growth. Not only in terms of enabling us to attract potential new clients for ATM:ad, but also in allowing us to develop opportunities in our existing client base, including linking ATM:ad to CRM technologies."

Stewart says the funding will also be used to expand the firm's media sales operation in London.

The investment is part of a larger funding package worth about £500,000 (U.S. $934,000) which includes an asset finance facility from the Bank of Scotland.
