Atlantic Union Bank appoints CIO

Atlantic Union Bank, based in Richmond, Virginia, has appointed Matt Linderman to serve as CIO. In this role, he will provide leadership and planning for technology and digital strategy, according to a press release.

"Matt is an accomplished IT executive with extensive expertise leading information technology and operations teams," Maria Tedesco, president and COO of Atlantic Union Bank, said in the release. "We believe his experience leveraging forward-leaning development and operations processes to optimize IT organizational performance will help Atlantic Union Bank accelerate our digital transformation. Matt's record of utilizing technology to drive business results will help us build upon our prior automation work, and he will be a key part of our executive leadership team."

Prior to joining Atlantic, Linderman served as CTO at PNC Financial Services Group Inc.
