Arizona State University selects Desert Financial Credit Union as official bank

Arizona State University has selected Desert Financial Credit Union to serve as its official banking partner. The credit union will provide ASU-branded debit and credit cards for the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe and West campuses, according to a press release.

Desert Financial will provide a $25,000 donation for equipment for injury prevention and recovery for women's sports at the university. It will also offer volunteer opportunities and financial education for students and faculty.

"Arizona State University and Desert Financial Credit Union share a strong belief in the power of education and our collaborative ability to support student learning and success," Michael M. Crow, ASU president, said in the release. "ASU is excited to grow this valued partnership as a dynamic resource offering great service, convenience and financial literacy to our students and our broader Sun Devil community."
