BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- Banco Galicia, one of the largest private banks in Argentina, has purchased more than 300 self-service machines from Diebold Argentina. The order includes 40 Diebold cash dispensers, 10 Diebold advanced-function ATMs and 255 self-service depository terminals designed and manufactured by Diebold-DPB. Beginning this month, Diebold will install the units in a number of branch and off-premise retail locations. "As we celebrate our first full year in Argentina we are extremely pleased with the market's reception of our self-service solutions," said Gabriel Llorca, general manager, Diebold Argentina. "In the last 12 months we have established market leadership, capturing more than 50 percent of the Argentinean financial self-service market." Diebold Argentina, a subsidiary of Diebold, Incorporated, was founded in 1999 to promote the distribution, sales and service of self-service terminals throughout Argentina.
