Ameris Bank appoints community lending director

Ameris Bank, based in Georgia, has appointed Clyde Anderson as director of community lending. In this role, he will oversee the bank's Fair Lending programs, according to a press release.

Prior to joining Ameris, Anderson served as a commercial lender with the Wisconsin Housing Economic Development Authority.

"Clyde Anderson brings an extensive background in community development, government relations and the mortgage business," Bill McKendry, chief risk officer, Ameris Bank, said in the release. "His experience aligns perfectly with our goal of enhancing our community lending solutions that provide financial peace of mind to our customers and communities."
