America First Credit Union to open 8 branches in Arizona

America First Credit Union announced it will open eight branches across Arizona. It opened one in Goodyear on Sept. 15, with locations in Mesa and Queen Creek to follow in October, according to a press release.

These branches will provide 80 jobs, along with financial education, ATMs and ITMs. Some of the financial education courses will include community workshops on budgeting, credit management, fraud prevention, saving strategies and more.

"Arizona represents one of the most vibrant growth stories in the nation," Thayne Shaffer, president and CEO of America First Credit Union, said in the release. "As the population grows, so does the need for trustworthy financial partners who offer more than just banking. We're here to support the financial wellness of our members as well as the communities where they live."
