Euronet Worldwide announced that it will display missing child alerts on ATM screens under an agreement with AMBER Alert Europe.
The partnership was piloted in the Netherlands during the summer of 2019, when information about a missing child was posted on Euronet ATM screens, and the child successfully found within a few hours.
"We are delighted to support an initiative, such as AMBER Alert Europe via our ATMs,” Nikos Fountas, executive vice president and CEO of Euronet EMEA EFT Processing. "Our ATM technology and locations such as airports, railway stations and city centers, places the alerts in front of large audiences."
