Ally Bank recently hosted 'Banksgiving' an event to show thankfulness to its customers. During this event, Ally customer care specialists transformed end-of-call surveys into opportunities to ask customers about financial challenges during the holiday season and how the bank could meet those needs, according to a press release.

During these calls, customers requested a variety of things such as paying for vacation, swim lessons, rent for a new apartment and Thanksgiving dinner.

"Doing right by our customers is in our DNA, and our customer care specialists are the center of that focus," Michael Rhodes, CEO at Ally, said in the release. "They're fiercely passionate about connecting with every customer on a personal level, and Banksgiving serves as an extension of the utmost appreciation, empathy and care that our associates live out every day."

Ally will post videos of these conversations on its TikTok and Instagram account.

"We had such a great response to our previous Banksgiving celebrations that we brought it back this holiday season with a fresh take on customer service surveys," Andrea Brimmer, chief marketing and public relations officer at Ally, said in the release. "Banksgiving truly highlights the genuine care and dedication we have for everyone we serve, emphasizing the strong sense of allyship between our reps and customers."
