Allied First Bank integrates AI chatbot

Allied First Bank, based in Oswego, Illinois, has partnered with Finn AI, an AI chatbot provider, to integrate its chatbot service. This tool can recognize more than 800 banking questions, according to a press release.

The bank also partnered with AnyHour Solutions, which can provide live agent support if the AI chatbot cannot answer questions. These two tools will help take the pressure off bank staff, according to the release.

"With the pandemic, our contact center was buried in calls and service requests. We wanted a conversational AI chatbot to take pressure off our employees, provide an additional self-service channel and reduce operating costs," Kenneth Bertrand, president and CEO of Allied First Bank, said in the release. "AnyHour and Finn AI address the unique needs of our industry. Plus, with their turn-key, managed service approach, we do not have to hire internal AI-app developers."
