Alabama man killed at Wells Fargo ATM

An assailant shot and killed a Birmingham, Alabama resident next to a Wells Fargo ATM in Homewood, Alabama. Police arrived on the scene at 12:43 p.m. on Sept. 11 and found Justin Jamond Hendrix dead, according to a report by WVTM 13.

"Hendrix was conducting a transaction at the stand-alone ATM when he was gunned down," police stated in a news release on Monday. "The ambush style attack was captured on video. The video shows a black 2013 Volvo XC90 pull up behind Hendrix. An unknown suspect exited the passenger side of the vehicle and fired multiple shots into Hendrix."

Police said this event appears to be a "targeted attack," and are looking for information to find the shooter.
