Access Cash joins NYCE Network

March 5, 2002

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J.-- Access Cash International L.L.C., an ISO headquartered in Arden Hills, Minn., has joined NYCE, adding about 2,700 Access Cash ATMs located throughout the East and Midwest to the network.

The addition of these ATMs, which are expected to be live by early July, will bring the number of ATMs participating in the NYCE Network to over 38,000.

Access Cash, one of the largest ISOs in the U.S. with over 8,500 ATMs deployed, has a strong ATM base in NYCE's principal service area. "We believe that joining the NYCE Network provides many benefits to all of our retail merchant clients and their ATM card user customers," said Jon Thomas, Access Cash's chief operating officer.

In an effort to add more ISOs to the network, NYCE increased its off-premise interchange rate to 50 cents per cash withdrawal transaction in February 2000.

"We view the signing of Access Cash as a strong vote of confidence in our network's sound processing capabilities and smart business practices," said James S. Judd, NYCE senior vice president.
