Absa integrates Western Union cash withdrawal

Absa, a South African ATM network, has integrated Western Union money transfers. With this service, customers can redeem the transfers and receive cash via the ATM, according to a report by Tech Africa News.

This feature is built to improve financial accessibility. Customers can deposit funds into their accounts, withdraw or transfer at the ATMs. It also features anti-money laundering tools.

In order to use it, customers need an Absa account. The service is only active during Western Union hours of operation.
