A funny thing about ATM PIN security ...

Earlier this month, the German card security organization, Kartensicherheit, premiered its latest comedy short, "PIN Bootcamp."

(Yes, we know: One phrase, so many interesting assertions.)

The new release is the latest in an ongoing series by Kartensicherheit (literally, "card safety") that uses humor to drive home a serious message about PIN protection.

Dialogue in the YouTube video is in German, but you can call up English captions by clicking the "cc" box and selecting English from the settings menu.

Kartensicherheit is the consumer awareness arm of Frankfurt-based Euro Kartensysteme GmbH, a multibank collaborative that administers MasterCard licenses, and develops and promotes consumer awareness of card security among German ATM and debit card users.
