3 men arrested for allegedly jackpotting ATM

Three men have been arrested in Madison County, Illinois for allegedly participating in a jackpotting scheme.

Carlos Marcanos-Gonzales, 27, Jose Mora Herrera, 24, and Keyler Barreto, 19, are charged with attempted theft and computer tampering, according to a report by Advantage News.

The three allegedly broke into the panel of an ATM at the Bank of Madison County in Edwardsville. They also allegedly then tried to install a computer program to get the ATM to dispense cash.
