Two men have been sentenced for taking part in an ATM jackpotting scheme in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

Sneyder Jose Yoris Torres and Anthony Javier Sanchez Paez were sentenced to one year in Becker County jail and two years of unsupervised probation, according to a report by Valley News Live.

These two men were part of a group of four who allegedly accessed an ATM's hardware and made it illegally dispense cash with malware. The other two men Leybnis Alejandro Infante Centeno and Alejandro Jose Molina Vasquez have yet to be sentenced.

The FBI put out a warning of a rise in jackpotting, with more than $20 million in losses in 2025. The Department of Justice recently charged a large group of individuals suspected of running a jackpotting scheme for the Venezuela gang Tren de Aragua.
