2 men arrested in New York for alleged ATM theft

Police in Suffolk County, New York arrested John Mahoney and Jaime Volini for allegedly stealing ATMs from local businesses. The men allegedly targeted ATMs at Mobile Gas, 7-Eleven and Ronkonkoma Deli during the evening from March 6 to 11, according to a report by News 12 Long Island.

In each case, police say the men broke doors and windows and either damaged or stole the ATMs.

Mahoney is also being charged with multiple additional burglaries for other attempted ATM thefts at Blue Moon Beer and Smoke Shop, Abdi Card and smoke Shop and Pupseria Y Taqueria Grocery and Deli.
